Where do I go when I want t look something up? Of course, you can always Google your topic, but there are some specific Web sites that I hit timer after time, because I know they provided good content, great photos or both.
The Elisabeth A. Miller Library has a handy online presence, and its own list of important links from gardens to organizations to references.
The Royal Horticultural Society web site provides fabulous information about plants and gardens. I'm a
member of the RHS so I get their great journal "The Garden" in the mail.
The city of Seattle offers lots of gardening tips through the
Natural Lawn and Garden program and the Seattle Transportation Department's
recommended street tree list is handy for choosing a tree for any site, not, just along the street. After all, these trees have to be both tough and beautiful. Check out your city's, website for locally recommended trees.
